Don't ask me, I have no idea of why. About the position I posted and our different results, I double checked it now with 2 machines and I got the same results I posted. But if I allocate 64MB hash instead of 184, F6b picks 0-0 one ply later (14/44), after 314 seconds. In any case, one way or another there are differences between 6a and 6b.
