Hi everyone i had the chance to play Cstal2 against a friend of mine who is a canadian master and a postal gm! I had told him that i purchased a program that played like tal, and then i got a bit of a funny look. He informed me that he had the pleasure of meeting tal at the world blitz chess festival in new brunswick. Him and brian nickoloff both met tal at this tournement, which tal won, to claim to 50,000 dollars prize.! By the end of this game he was making claims like tal had come back from the grave! :> so enjoy. game in 30min! e4 e6 d4 d5 nc3 nc6 e5 nd7 nce2! new move played by anand these days! ......c5 c3 nc6 f4 f6 nf3 fxe5 fxe5 cxd4 cxd4 bb4+ bd2 0-0 bb4 nb4 nc3 rxf3!? gxf3 here bob said that the computer was a patzer! and that it was dead! ......qh4 ke2 nc6 ke3 ndxe5.. here bob said the computer was a lunatic and had no regard for material and should be taught the value of the pieces :> dxe5 d4+ ke2 nxe5!!????!!! here bob almost fell off his chair! and asked if i had and whiskey! ne4 d3+ ke3 bd7 bxd3 rf8 be2 qf4+ kd4 rd8 here bob said that tal was alive! kc3 qe3+ kc2 ba4+ b3 rxd1+ bxd1 bc6 ng3 qd3+ bob said he was humoring me by playing these last few moves! kb2 qd4+ kb1 nd3 white resigns! i think this was a beuatiful game by tal! and so did my friend! maybe next time ill try to get brian nickoloff to play he is canada's third highest rated player. I hope everyone enjoys this game i did!
