Probably this is the reason in your case. I don't think the mouse driver itself causes the problem. Check the path also, I think it must include the ..\windows and ..\windows\command directories. Regards, M.Scheidl P.S. I've heard that all of this is even worse with Windows Millennium, no "pure" DOS at all anymore? I'd like to continue using M-Chess 7.1, Nimzo 3.5, Socrates 3.0 etc. ... Who knows more about DOS in WinMe (or how it's abbreviated) from the chess-specific viewpoint?
