The results suggest the conjecture that Fritz6b is better at short time control when Fritz6a is better at short time control. It is clear that there are not enough games to know and the fact that chessbase programmers said that 6a and 6b are almost the same suggest that the conjecture that Fritz6a is better at long time control is only an illusion. I guess that there is no big difference between fritz6a and fritz6b because I tend to believe chessbase about it (I can change my mind if I see more results) but it is clear that the results suggest the idea that a is better in long time control and b is better in short time control more than the opposite idea(a is better in short time control...).
