I would certainly say that this patch is an upgrade for me. I am not talking about the engine here - no data to make any serious conclusions - , but about the user interface. That Permanent brain checkbox, which is now back where it should be, that one alone makes the point for me. For testing of two programs on one computer it is important to be sure that PB is off. No more INI file editing every time I need to change the time control! Tablebases seem to be working OK now (At least I have no problems here this far), and usage of clock in friend mode or rated game mode is OK now as well. Even if the F6a (which came with the first service pack) turns out to be the best of two, what problem could be if it is used with this newer interface? Didzis
