Ok, after all the discussion, we are left with November 4-5 or September 30-Oct 1. I have a conflict Nov 12, and if we push things back further than that we have to resubmit the dates to everyone, then more potential conflicts may arise. Might end up into next year. So I've cleared the dates with Sjlim, and November 4-5 seems like the best. I am very sorry that we could not accommodate everyone. Now, if I've had a brain fart and everyone really wants to play Sept 30-Oct 1, I'm sure you'll let me know. Time-control is 30 10, eight round swiss. Regarding playing unattended, I think that it's not really in the spirit of the event to play without being present. One or two games perhaps, but even then you risk disconnection and forfeit, and that's not what it's all about. In Williams' case, he will get an operator while watching football for three hours, so that's ok.
