In Internet Explorer you only have to enter it once annd it gives you
the option to remember it (you still have to hit a button though)
In Navigator I'd recommend setting a bookmark of the form
http://yourName:yourPassword@www.icdchess.com/ccc/index.html?from=0&to=48&
view_by=thread
from=0 and to=48 specifies you want to see messages not younger than 0
hours and not older than 48 hours. view_by can take other values as
well, but I don't remember which ("date" or "age" for sure, possibly
"author" ... feel free to experiment ;)
In Navigator 3 you will still have to enter name and password when you
read the first message however, but your password will be shown as part
of the URL in the message list, which makes it somewhat easier for those
of us who can remember the serial number of their computer but not 5
randomly selected letters ;)
