Go up one level in this thread

I have a few suggestions.

First, be thankfull that you are alive and Healthy. When I take a look at other
less fortunate people and war torn and conflict ridden countries around the
world, I am thankfull that I am able to log onto the net and even give a shit
about computer chess to begin with.

I heard someone suggest making a web site, well I started off with Frontpage
express which comes free with internet explorer, a freeware ftp program to
upload my pages, and am using a free server to show my web pages.

All this is available to you and it is a place were you can start to get a hold
of your life and make a difference. You then submitt your site to as many search
engines as possible (there are even freeware program that will send your site to
numberous search engines for you)and start to spread your wings.

Feel down, then be creative, use a graphics program and design, make aminated
banners, let your creativity run wild. Then you will start to focus your mind
and thoughts and not think of being depressed all the time.

Goto www.softseek.com and if you do not have programs to do this, then get ones
which will make you. All avaiable for free.

Let your mind do other things.

I just used a cheap program I bought to send my site to over 5000 search engines
:) Lets hope my traffic for my site picks up.

I was depressed cause I had an illness which was not life threatening, but
annoying, no one could diagnose what the hell it was. I just decided to change
my diet, exercise (I am on the cuddly side) and have a positive attitude. Within
a few weeks things started to feel better and clear up, and so far I am feeling
better and healther everyday. No one did it for me, I did it for myself.

Unless you have a chemical imbalance that causes your depression, you then have
no reason to start making changes in your life.

Get a push bike, grab a camera, ride and take photos of something you feel will
inspire you when you look back at it, even if its a nice shot of a tree. Get out
of the damn house and do something.

I was in your position once, I got out of it, you can do anything you damn want
too.

get a site and show your work, and shove it in peoples faces, if it is not
working, listen and then give them what they want. If you can't, move on and do
something else.

I am now in the process of opening up my own site to sell my animated logos and
logos for personal or bussiness, screen savers for companies, multimedia
presentations, all this I choose to do when I was going no where, I am now
making a living out of it

regards
