Subject: You are who you are (and need attention too!)

Go up one level in this thread

This is similar to my below post, but with a few additions. I repost it here
(with those changes) to be sure it doesn't get buried in the depths of an
earlier, related thread. Plus, it is surely applicable here also!

Hi Peter,

Let me try to cut to the chase without beating around a bush:

1. You are doing a disservice to both Come and van Hal, as well as to the CCC
readers in general, with your rhetoric.

2. Have you established your identity to the satisfaction of CCC? I would feel
better as a member if I knew that you had done so.

3. Your remarks in this thread strongly remind me of another personality who
used to post here, sometimes under his own name, sometimes under an alias. It
would not be good to be confused with that personality, believe me. But so far
you are doing a good job at marking yourself (whether right or wrong).

That person needed attention also--just as you seem to need--even at the cost of
others feelings and sensibilities. Is that pure selfishness or merely the
signature of an ill megalomaniac? I won't judge the details because I really
don't know. The result, however, appears the same: Trouble. Starts with 'T'
and rhymes with 'P'.

4. Take care and continue to post if you desire, but please leave off the
fomenting/raving (if you are able--which I sincerely hope, but just as sincerely
doubt). It irritates me--which I suppose is your goal, so I count you a very
successful person (in your own eyes).

Don't, however, expect to carry this on for too long.

5. These are my own remarks, so please don't blame them on others (even if
others feel similarly). NOTE: a group that may agree on some things at times is
not necessarily a cultural clique as you might label it, nor a persecution
squad, as you might be inclined to feel. It may just be a lot of people with
similar 'common sense'.

A reply is expected. (as in 'anticipated', not as in 'wanted')

If you reply, I am right about this. If you don't, I am happy. I prefer,
however, peace & quiet.
