You know that in reality you resigned. Hence the offer was of your king (2. Ke2)

You relyed on the chivalry of the brave knight with whom you were doing battle
to spare you with a draw. And he did. The kibizters were a little meaner, as
usual.

It's a novel way to offer a draw.

The chivalrous draw acceptance was what gave Ke2 the !!

Moral of the story: when your opponent has two options, he will invariably take
the third.
