He excelled in this type of games vs weaker opposition. /Sorry Mr Albertazzi, but you must be considered weak compared to Morphy - who wouldn't?/ Also I like this game because I grew up with gambits. Knowing them and tactics can give you a shortcut to some ELO 2200+, but then people tend to get more careful. I know... Also agree with the poster stating that black“s 7th and 8th moves are questionable. Big time... So, if someone had shown me this game, stating that Morphy played white - I surely would have swallowed it. Those were the days...
