Yeah, there's lots of hype going on with chess programs and some places
take your money but don't reply when you need help. Perhaps that's why
there are pirates out there. But, you are not alone! It's nice to know
that M-Chess-Pro, Rebel, Chessbase usa, and a few others do give great
customer support. I no longer work with Apples, but I got screwed by
more than one producer of Chess programs at the time. I know you buy
what is supposed to be the greatest chess program after Deep Blue and
find out it not only doesn't produce but the producers of that program
could care less. They have your money. You have a ten cent floppy. The
only suggestion I have is contact customer service of the company you
wish to buy from before you buy. Surprisingly you'll find no reply from
many of them. Good luck!!
