Subject: Negamax with alpha/beta and scoring.

I tried to implement Negamax with cutoffs again yesterday and failed.

My approach was to take my old alpha beta code and converted it to
negamax/cutoffs.

I am of the opinion that my scoring function should calculate the highest
possible positive value for Black Or White instead of the most negative value
for Black and the most positive value for White.

Is my statement about scoring with Negamax/cutoffs true or am I still missing
something.
