Subject: PIII with cumine core rocks under windows

Hello,

I compiled latest snapshot from the gcc compiler again,
and measured speed difference using -O9 -fexpensive-optimizations
-mcpu=pentiumpro -march=pentiumpro etcetera

MSVC i compile using -O2 -G6
That creates for msvc 486 code which is scheduled for p6 though.

Now at PII it used to be about 8.5% faster for msvc,
but at the new PIII the speed difference has gotten a lot larger.
it's 10.81% speed difference now. So that's 10.8 in short, which is
2.3% worse as it used to be.

I measured on both OSes with the parallel version running single cpu.

So for the single cpu version the difference will be even larger, as
i lock in assembly (thanks bob!) both for linux and windows.
