Subject: Genius 6.5 playing strength

I got the impression from reading posts in this forum and other, that Genius 6.5
is supposed to not belong to the current top commercial programs. I cannot
verify this since I played only a few games and I am not a chess expert -
perhaps I even got a wrong impression.

Can someone please point me to results from games of Genius 6.5 against other
programs (commercial or winboard) at 40/120min time control. In my tournament
Genius 6.5 does a good job so far (actually ranked 2nd after 6 rounds),
especially its endgame without tabelbases seems to be very good. Perhaps the
reason is the small hashtable size (32MB) and ponder off? Do other programs gain
more strength compared to Genius with increased HTsize and ponder on (I know
that some programs are worse if ponder is off).

Thanks for any hint on the playing strength!

Joachim
