Seriously, how else should I deal with this kind of thing? If some other guy does a tournament in his basement, at standard time controls, and Fritz 5 won *that*, should Amir Ban have to deal with being "challenged" like this? I like Aegon (too bad this is gone) and the WMCCC. I'll probably go to the WCCC next year. Maybe I'll play in the yearly Paderborn tournament one of these years (I like that city, and various Germans who will be found close by), and perhaps I'll play in the Dutch championship if I can find some excuse to be Dutch. I have been carrying a 25 guilder note around as a bookmark, perhaps this will qualify me for the Dutch championship if I carry it around for a few more years. Other tournaments, especially tournaments that don't involve the program authors, I don't have time or energy for, I think. bruce
