Hello,

I think no the version 4.32f works fine with WinBoard Adapter for Chess-Base
GUIs. In the last days Steen try all to make the "Gandalf to Fritz interface"
better.

I can`t see any problems with ponder or the time managment with different time
controls. The readme files are also ready.

When other beta testers not found a mistake I think the version from 17.09.00 is
the CD version.

My latest results:

Fritz 6a - Gandalf 4.32f 12.0 : 8.0 !
Fritz and Gandalf with 128 MB for hashtables, Fritz 6 SP1 GUI, with ponder on my
Pentium III 733 MHz dual board and with the own opening books (Fritz with
Gerneral book).

Fritz 6a - Gandalf 4.32f 4.5 : 5.5
Here with 40 / 5 without ponder and 64 MB for hashtables.

Hiarcs 7-32 - Gandalf 4.32f 4.0 : 6.0
Here with game in 5 minutes without ponder and 64 MB for hashtables.

In all my test games played Gandalf with a very hight level. I think Fritz is in
Blitz a little bit better, but when I played without ponder and 64 MB for
hashtables is Gandalf a little bit better. OK, I have not enough games.

The sensation for this year !
We have a new very very strong chess engine and I think all other programs have
big problems against Gandalf to win a match over 30 or more games ! We will see.

Best
Frank
