Are there any similar statistics of rgcc? Oh well, if i get after a WMCC in 1997 about 1000 private emails a day, from which several hundreds are different people, if chessmaster sold 4 million copies from chessmaster, and if i hear from *many* people who follow just *now and then* computerchess, if the dutch computer chess association already has like 800 members, if CSS sells tens of thousands of copies each few months, then just when talking about netherlands+germany the number 4800 is already real bad, as there are more people now and then following computerchess already in those 2 countries, which are only a small part of the world. Still didn't count big countries like: united states, france, chili, russia, ukrain, hungary, poland and a lot of other countries where quite a number of people potential now and then can follow such a group. >How many signed members here have been just curious persons who visited >this board once or twice and then left? > >If above 46% is a poor number, what would be good then? a big multiple of it, but for any web based application which is so slow like CCC (not the fault of icdchess or CCC admins, but the slowness of the lookup to the web itself). > Jari
