for 6x6 chess, the 6 pieces tables should be practical to generate on my home
system, under 200meg per side for pawnless tables, and 600meg per side for
pawn tables.  7 piece tables should be a bit harder to do than the 6 piece
tables are for real chess, taking around 6gig per side for pawnless tables
and 18gig per side for tables with pawns.

Anyone done tablebases for chinese chess yet?  I was just looking at that
and it looks interesting.
