Dear Jose, Paulo, and Vincent

Thanks for letting us know about this exciting match, gentlemen. Where can we
get more details?

I translated the French into English with Babelfish so I have a general idea of
what's happening. Still, I'm missing some important details. How much time are
the computers being given to calculate/move? Who is operating the computer(s) to
ensure no human intervention? Will there be postings of the chess engines search
depths and evaluations once the games leave the chess engine's programmed
opening books? Will GM Leotard annotate the games live? When does the computer
operator know that sufficient time has passed in order to accept the computer's
moves? What happens when the computer evaluates more than one move equaly? Where
can we go to see the moves to date? Are endgame table-bases already installed in
the computer hard-drive?

Here's wishing GM Leotard total success against the silicon beasts!

Sincerely,

Stephen Ham
