I see why it is won in 6x6, the knight can attack both wings and
especially both the last and first rows at the
same time, so also the row where the rook is, it is not safe there!
Pure theoretical not so amazing that knight becomes stronger, but that
KRN KR is won, that's of course a bit too far from the thought world
of the chessplayer, as it's VERY simple to draw KRN KR at 8x8!
Note that there are more games where similar things are visible.
In draughts 10x10 there 3 queens against 1 is a draw, in checkers
3 queens against 1 is usually a win!
