I simply don't like seeing results being influenced by book. The opening books are the the things most likely to become out of date. I like things which have a lasting value. Either Fisherandom or books off should be used often when testing program skill. Only later, the books might as well be maximised for that program. A program which is weaker than a downgrade (or previous generation), if not for the opening books, means absolutely nothing to me. It counts toward the program? An interesting belief system! But it certainly doesn't count towards the tactical or positional level of the programs evaluation abilities.
