Is Chessbase 8 worth $90?...I don't think so!!. I own Chessbase 7 and Fritz 6 and to be honest if you own these two programs you dont need chessbase 8 specially if it is going to cost 90 of my hard earned dollars. Chessbase 8 is suppossed to be a database manager and the new CB8 does not appeared to have any IMPORTANT improvement with regards of database management. I loved Chessbase products by I think this time the German team is trying to pull a fast one on us. They want 90 dollars so we have a nicer interface. I already have it on Fritz 6. 90 for a few extra SKINS is too much in my opinion.
