New features of ChessBase 8.0 Board window * Free resizing of windows with automatic scaling of the board. * Wide choice of piece and board styles. * Special search window for Reference and Online database: One click search lists all games that match the current board position. * Search in the reference database for all moves played in the current board position, with full statistics. * One-click review of search results - ChessBase transfers the game to the board and jumps to the relevant position. * Table notation with footnotes for densely annotated openings lines. * Book (previously "Tree") permanently accessible in the board window. * Book edit window show all important continuations, including the critical line, on a variation board. * In the book edit window a double-click or right-click and menu will copy the variation into the game notation. * Integrate photo window which automatically displays pictures of the players.
