From my experiences it *does* the job better, finding and killing doubles, including the -yup- fuzzy doubles and the kind of searches you do propose. A short sidenotice: people working in DM (direct marketing) think a pollution of 3% in your database is acceptable. That is in a 1,4 million base some 45,000 games. A whole year score of TWIC. My advice to you is not to judge on suspicion, but on information. If you have doubt that the program works the way you want it to work, wait for others (who don't care to be suckers) to buy nd try it. This forum is an excellent place for exchanging these experiences. Wait with buying new software if you don't want to be a frontrunner, and get the opportunity to get real info, not the sales talk of the ChessBase pages. |-) Jeroen ;-}
