I think it is very fair of you to publish the original letter of the lawyer (
although legally a little suspect ;-) ) .

I can't find anything wrong or outrageous in it .

It says you got some beta-version of Shredder prior to WMCCC to beta-test , then
decided to give copies of it to third parties .

You were asked to stop this and delete the questionened copies as the treaty
beween Mr Meyer-Kahlen and you was cancelled by him due to this .

The development of Shredder continued in the meantime .

Bugs or shortcomings that might have been present in the beta version you got
might be corrected
before public release . Also there was no agreement to publish results of this
private version you got .

Now publishing your results as Beta-Tests of Shredder 5 is obviously suspect and
not in the interest of Mr Meyer-Kahlen and Millenium so they ask you to stop
this.

This is meant to be a translation for non-German speakers . I tried to summarize
to the best of my knowledge but no guarantee .
