Subject: problem loading chess engine i made into fritz

Hi
I can play pulsar fine in winboard. it plays on icc and i can play it engine
vs engine in winboard. But i tried to load it into fritz to do engine vs engine
thinking it would have a better book and i ran into a problem. The book moves
are all made fine. If pulsar goes out of book first it thinks and makes its
move. if Gnu chess goes out of book first it also thinks and makes its move. And
then if gnu went out of book first pulsar is capable of thinking and responding.
The problem is that fritz never accepts the move after the first non book move
it makes. Which is the second move pulsar thinks on. It takes the first move
but says error a1a1 try another move for the second. Well i check pulsars data
files and its making a legitamat move. What could be wrong. Is this a problem
with fritz or is there something i need to do to make the engine compatible with
fritz. thanks mike adams
