Subject: Fritz 6 and Windows ME Problem

I recently installed Windows ME on my computer and now it seems I can no longer
run Fritz 6.  When I click on the desktop icon, I get the following error
message:

      "The SHELL32.DLL file is linked to missing export
SHLWAPI.DLL:SHREgisterValidateTemplate."

After clicking on the "OK" button, I get this second message:

       "C:\Program Files\ChessBase\Fritz6\Fritz6.exe
        A device attached to the system is not functioning."

I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Fritz 6, but the same thing
happens.  If anyone has any suggestions on correcting this problem, I would
greatly appreciate it!  Thanks,
