Christophe: Thank you for your so fast answer.It has been very useful because in some minutes mre will arrive to my home the guy that installed the card and I will ask him to check the fan, to begin with. He comes with a new set of memory chips. Yesterday one of my gurues already thought of the Voltage and changed it from 2,2 to 3,3. Maybe too much? So what i will ask the guy to do is: a) check the fan b) replace the entire bank of memories c) diminish the speed of the processor from 500 to 400 Mhz or so. If the problem disappear I can, later, speed up the cpu to the original 500 and see what happens. It seems also that Windows Me has certain problems with devices. That's another chance I will test if anything else fail. In that case I will go back to W98. Thanks a lot, Christophe. Fernando
