Hi Fernando, I see some experts already gave you some advice. I thought of heat problems myself, especially by an "overclocked" AMD. Most motherbords have temperature control (in BIOS or as a standalone utility) so you could try to measure temp. At 3,3V I think it will run HOT. I don't know a thing about the motherboard, but you spoke about vmm. Maybe you're talking about the vmm32.vxd file, which is a very complicated file under Windows. AFAIK it is a library of startup vxd's, finetuned for your PC at installation. If something is corrupted during installation, you should re-install. You can't just extract the file from your Win CD or any cab-file, it has to be built during windows installation. Now if you just changed motherboards and proicessor and then clicked the HD(s) to the controller(s), it might as well be that the vmm32.vxd loads wrong library files for your configuration, and that might cause the conflict call. Maybe there are better ways but.... I suppose a new partitioning, format and install is the best (and very time consuming). Yet it makes your PC run fast again - lean and mean, and you can change if you want to multiple partitions, like Windows ME and Linux or BeOs. The Moment to try them out and be happy is there. Good luck. Jeroen ;-}
