I confirm that Marcus has NOT influenced the choice of the opening against
Shredder in the WMCCC 2000 in any way.
It is 100% Jeroen Noomen's opening work.
Jeroen has sent me the London book long before the London event. There was a
main book and 6 "preference" books that can influence the program's choice. The
operator just had to select the right "preference" book depending on the
opponent.
Marcus Kästner and Ed Schröder followed Jeroen's directions for the game against
Shredder by picking the preference book Jeroen had prepared.
