I think it's the same for Marcus. He loves chess programs a lot.
I know for sure that he likes Shredder a lot, no matter what he has said
recently. He likes Genius a lot too. And other programs too.
And he likes Tiger too but he can also criticize it very severely.
For years, I cannot remember a single moment when he has been really negative
about ANY chess program. It is the last person who would use secret knowledge in
order to kill a chess program. He could have done that since several years, and
he has NEVER done that.
Sueing him is a nonsense. It is good for nobody.
Stefan, you have at this time a wonderful image. Why are you going to spoil it
by such a futile fight against a chess fan? Do you really want to get famous for
this?
Marcus is probably a little bit too hot-tempered. I had a quarrel with him for
several months about an unimportant topic. Big deal. It's over now.
I understand you can feel offended by what he has said, but going to court would
be like admitting that you are unable to handle the problem in a reasonnable
way. Don't tell me you can't handle this. I thought Marcus and you were friends
in the past?
Of course, Marcus will have to take back some of the things he has said. I hope
he will be reasonnable as well.
I'm sorry to stick my nose in this. I know it's not my business. If you think I
should shut up, then I will.
