OFFICIAL statement about REBEL DECADE 2.0

At the moment there is a lot of confusion going on about Rebel
Decade 2.0 mainly caused by KK latest "Komputer Korner Tip of the
Week # 39" which I like to clarify now.

It's true that the very first version of Rebel Decade 2.0 made it
possible with a little trick to select the Rebel9 engine which BTW
is not the real Rebel9 engine.

As soon as we discovered this (Anonymous with the ELO posting put us
immediately on the right track!) we removed Rebel Decade 2.0 from the
Rebel Home Page, fixed it and put the good version back. The old
version has been on the Rebel Home Page for about 16-24 hours.

I hope this clarifies the situation.

Rebel Decade 2.0 is free for everybody but does not contain the
commercial Rebel 9.0 chess engine.

Best regards,
