Go up one level in this thread
I repeat; this is a ferocious and inventive opponent that provides you with
extremely entertaining games and is also a terror at comp-comp chess. A hell of
a program.

PS again, It kicked GM Mecking's butt at blitz chess. Of course that was not
an official game. Mr. Al Silver has the pgn of that game but it is
up to him if he wants to release it. I don't like to post games by
beta programs because it might have an adverse effect on sales. I
am, however, free to comment on the general playing abilities of
the programs. Mecking is an alright fellow in my book.

Dear CCC,
Eating homemade apple pie, listening to Nana Mouskouri CDs, gazing at stars on a
dark clear night, sipping fine wine, caressing your wife, having a peak
experience, going down a hill on a mountain bike at 90 Km/hr--These are all what
playing the Gambit Tiger program by Christophe Theron is akin to.
For those of you who are getting tired of playing computer chess, this program
will snap you out of the doldrums and give you effervescent chess. You will
taste the tiny bubbles and smell the aroma of chess once again. You gotta love
it.
Leonid meteor showers with 30,000/hr rates(coming in 2002), hybrid autos that
get 30 km/liter and seat 1.8 meter occupants with ease, rich exotic wood chess
sets and having Kasparov as your personal chess tutor at your total command...
This may be the only chess program that you ever need.
