If you are a journalist, and someone tells you someone else's calling card number, you do not publish the number, even if someone else is passing the number out. Sure, the number is a fact, and journalists are supposed to publish facts, but it is irresponsible to publish this particular fact. Sure, Ed screwed up, he had a bug. But you made it worse by very excitingly telling everyone about it. You may as well have titled your post, "Get a full version of Ed's software, quick, before he figures this out and takes it off the site!" I wonder how many hits Ed had on his site last night, from people trying to get his stuff for free. bruce
