Fernando, you should open the box and have a look at this stuff yourself as soon
as possible.

Check if the processor is really what it is supposed to be. You'll have to
remove the heat sink and maybe remove the thermal paste in order to read what's
written on the processor.

3.3V for an AMD processor above 300MHz is definitely abnormal.

The only alternative I see is that the processor is a Cyrix MII. In this case it
will heat your room (maybe a good idea for the Chilian winter), and will not run
faster than 400MHz (or am I misinformed?). Even in this case the right voltage
is 2.9V, not 3.3V.

It's an overclocked Cyrix MII-400 maybe?

Do you trust the guy who sells the motherboard+processor?
