We allowed one thread to go on and on.  Now this starts _another_ thread.  One
was more than enough.  I don't intend to see dozens of these side-threads, side-
accusations, side-responses, pop up everywhere.

I don't care who said what to whom.  _none_ of it belongs here.  period.
