Tim, the rules (laws) have to be rigid because they have to foresee all the
possible situations. However, people that are responsible for the execution of
the rules (laws), have to know as to do good use of them. The words and
sentences that characterize a certain rule (law), not always get to reach the
reality. The one that I wrote is good for a great community (country) as for a
small community (family).
CCC is not an exception, because although some subjects here are out of the
topic, they are not deleted because, although they are not following the rules,
they are subjects of interest of most of the people, or indirectly linked to
the computer chess, etc, etc, etc.
I think that is the moderators' responsibility to separate the wheat from the
chaff, and in the case that we are debating, I think that you were unhappy
to write that "we have not interested" for three reasons:
1. You are not a moderator.
2. You cannot express the opinion of everybody.
3. I think that the person that wrote the post is entitled the answer,
independent of being right or not. This third reason I consider that can be
doubtful, because this is just my opinion on the subject.
