You can't predict a rating for any program using a test suite. Here is how the 'formula' is derived: run several programs with a known SSDF rating against the suite. Then take any curve-fitting program you want and fit a curve through the data points you got from running the test suite. Now that curve will predict the rating of any of the programs used, and do so quite accurately. It won't say _anything_ about programs that were not used to calibrate the test...
