Curious about this position:
[D]r3r1k1/3q2p1/2p1ppQP/2P3p1/1p1P4/pPb1RN2/P4P2/1K5R w - -

Some programs find one of the two excellent moves right away, and some (even
professional programs) never seem to get it.

I would be curious to know what is masking the answer, because it is not a
terrificly deep problem.

Phalanx (in particular) does a brilliant job of rapidly finding the right move.
What has Dusan Dobes done to resolve a problem like this properly?
