Christophe, it's not your problem that they posters behave like they do. Some
have the courtesy of posting interesting results and games with insightful
comments, while abstaining from making nauseating comments about how different
it is or claiming to have just witnessed the best computer game ever played. I
also find pudding different, but I don't write about it and I'm not sure it can
beat Mephisto at chess.

There's a fine line being excited and informative and a royal pain in the
backside as far as I'm concerned. Quite a few from your betatester team, but far
from all, has crossed that line without looking back. Naturally, the same
applies to comments about other programs, but the last week it has _only_ been
RTII and Gambit Tiger. I can't recall small Crafty praising threads being posted
here. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Of course you're not responsible for that, because people behave according to
their own free will. However, if I were you, I would be worried about a lot
people patting me on the back instead of offering constructive critiscism. I
guess that kind of communication is present somewhere else than here.

All these beta threads have one advantage though. Now it's possible to decide
who are knowledgeable, thrustworthy and objective when it come to advantages and
disadvantages about certain chess programs and who aren't. That's something.

Mogens.
