It's hardly an insignificant piece of chess software, not to us anyway. But to most of us, it's probably also too high priced. What did it beat Fritz by? Half a point? That half a point isn't worth double the cost to me. And as I understand it, the interface isn't near as good as Fritz. From what people are saying about Tiger Gambit, I'll have that long before I have Shredder--not that I'd mind having Shredder, but I care to throw only so much cash on this chess software. RC
