That is complete and utter bullshit.  You did do something wrong.  If
you haven't figured it out yet, I don't suppose you ever will.

Why do you think you have been castigated on this issue over and over,
by so many different people? Clearly a significant portion of the
population takes issue with your action.

It is a lucky thing for Schroder BV that they had already noticed the
problem after a previous poster's comment.  That does not mitigate in
the slightest the inappropriateness of your action.

They might be attacking you with even more vehemance.  If you encounter
a similar situation in the future, consider informing the software
author and not the rest of the world.
