A lot of people probably thought that about Kasparov also in 1986 when he faced Karpov. When he was losing the match (like 5-0), Kasparov turned it around and started playing Karpov's own game - "positional" chess. The match was eventually terminated with an equal score, but Kasparov proved, IMO, that he can play positionally as well as _anyone_. I think if he gets behind Kramnik at all, he can change his game almost totally to come back. I really don't think Kramnik can win... I guess we'll have to wait and see.
