I have up to and including all 4 man tablebases installed on my hard drive and i'am curious when i begin to see hundreds and up to thousands of tablebase hits at certain times of the endgame when there are still 5 and up to 9 pieces still on the board, if i can begin to trust some of this analysis, or is it only accurate when the game reaches 4 pieces left on the board? I know an average amount of endgame knowledge and see that even when i have more than 4 pieces left on the board that the analysis is correct when i'am getting alot of tablebase hits, but some very complicated endgames when there are more than 4 pieces on the board and i'am getting alot of tablebase hits showing i don't know if i can trust this analysis at that point of the game! How many tablebase hits determine how accurate the endgame analysis is? Do you need several thousands of hits to say it is now more accurate? I hope i'am getting my point accross! Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, Best regards, Terry
