Arasan gets these results on a PIII/733: 479 - not solved - likes Kg3 with a score of +3.98 at 62 seconds 491a - solved, 31 seconds, 17 ply 530 - likes Ke8 after 0 seconds, 13 ply (score +1.28 after 60 seconds) 608 - solved, 0 seconds, 8 ply 679 - solved, 1 second, 10 ply 680 - solved, 0 seconds, 7 ply 765 - not solved, selects Kd3 with score +0.75 Arasan doesn't have tablebases but is pretty strong in the endgame. I also use this test suite, which I collected out of Fine's Basic Chess Endings. Most are pawn endgames, a few are not.
