>Tough. I don't go with the customer is always right crap. Mostly they're >always wrong; just like you and me. > >Chris Whittington It is wrong to make the customer feel that he is always right. If you don't teach your customers to behave the way YOU feel that it is right, you will somehow lose the control after a few weeks. You HAVE to teach the customers how to behave together with you. Any business man tries to get the customer HE deserves. NOBODY is interested in getting customers he does NOT like. We are all human beeings and I have seen that after a while people who TRY to make the customers beeing the BOSS feel very frustrated because ... of their stupid and egocentric customers. So - I subscribe your point of views about customers and companies. I would never be nice to a customer if he is attacking, selfish, arrogant or stupid JUST BECAUSE HE IS A CUSTOMER. If he wants to buy somewhere else - he should do so. I am not interested in customers making me trouble. I want customers I can deal with and have no problems. Anybody should get the customers he deservers. Some companies really have nasty customers. :-) And I know magazines who got stupid readers :-) As long as they educate their readers/customers 2 faced, the situation will not change. Therefore I would like all companies to act like chris point of view.
