That's not the way chess works IMHO .

Reminds me of Tartakover who once said :" The classical masters had to attack
the weak points of their opponents to win , we neo-romantic ones know though
that we can decide on every point to aim at and let it look weak !" This
certainly sounds rather courageous and thrilling but as time went by people
calmed down again :-)

My personal impression is Gambit Tiger judges positional factors higher than
others especially when it is about king's safety .

But I don't see a dumb "attack-or-die"-engine here . It can play rather boring
games on a very high level .

As I wasted nearly all day watching the KKs on webcam ( very addictive ) instead
of a result-summary only an example of what I am talking about .

Game on 2 PIII500s - time control 1hour/game - 10 secs inc/move

Here is the very nice 22. ...Qg5+ ( probably not that easy for many
chessprograms ) and then this is a really classic play on the white squares .
Reminds me more of Mr Nimzowitch rather than Tal ; it is my favourite Gambit
Tiger game so far .

By the way I also have two nice ones against Chess System Tal 2.03 :) :

First one book victory ( but didn't Chess System Tal attack nicely :-) ) ,
second one cool technique .

So , the spectactular wins are really nice , but it seems to me this isn't all
that can or should be said about the Gambit Tiger .

OK , good night .
