You should make sure they're not ( when adding them to the killer list ) But
that shouldn't make that much difference.

Opening requires specific knowledge ( not selectivity) . Add "doe not block your
d and e pawns with a bishop" and you'll have a killer. "Do not leave your
(light) pieces on the initial positions" is another one.

I'll have a look when I get home. I'm quite sure I only get 0 secs if I leave my
openingbook on.
