Subject: In KK's Defense

Although I understand many people seem upset with KK for his
posting of the Rebel Decade 2.0 flaw, I believe there is a large
difference between saying "I wouldn't have posted that information
because I do not believe it was ethical to do so," and actively
attacking KK for posting it. Personally, I might have had second
thoughts about posting the Decade 2.0 flaw, but I fully support
anyone's right to post information. I would feel very sorry if KK,
or anyone else became "gun-shy" about posting due to fear of being
verbally attacked. If you feel it is wrong to take advantage of
the Rebel Decade 2.0 flaw, you are probably right -- we need to
support chess programmers. However, please don't attack the person
who reported the flaw.

Additionally, the more group bandwith used for these bandwagon
attacks, the more we look like rgcc. We will all lose interest if
fewer and fewer posts deal with computer chess.
